CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRY
Our Vision is to:
Raise our children in the Faith, leading them to know, love, and follow God in the person and voice of Jesus Christ;
Know and understand the Scriptures;
Know and understand God’s plan of Salvation;
Know and practice Spiritual Disciplines;
Know the power and practice of Love and Fellowship with one another;
Know and understand the Holiness of God and His Church.
Our youth will be excellent in practical matters and possess a Kingdom of God mindset.
We seek to nurture our youth to be future leaders who will bring a Godly influence to their schools, peers, neighborhoods, careers, families, and the Church.
The youth ministry has a three-fold mission: inspiration, education, and recreation. Through regularly scheduled youth church services, seminars, outings, field trips, tutoring, mission trips, overnight jams, concerts and such likes, the youth will succeed in every area of life.
Through Worship, Strong Biblical Teaching, Personal and Spiritual Growth Classes and Fellowship Activities, our children will have a full orbed church experience during the Morning Worship Service
SUNDAYS 8:30 AM & 10:30 AM
Classes are divided into four groups:
K -2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, 9th-12th Grades
Each group participates in 3, 40 minute classes which focus on the Bible, Worship, and Spiritual Growth and Development
Children are taught the importance of worship through learning different hymns, psalms and Spiritual songs.
This class is also used for the children and youth choirs to practice for special events such as Christmas and Resurrection Sunday performances.
The Bible class provides strong instruction through a weekly Bible lesson using FaithWeaver and LIVE curriculums, along with supplemental materials to instill Church doctrine in our youth.
