Worship Service - 7 PM
Good Friday remembers the day, more than 2,000 years ago, when Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world. During Holy Week, after entering Jerusalem, Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot and arrested. Religious leaders accused Him of blasphemy because of His claims about being God, and though false witnesses failed to agree in their testimony, He was sentenced to death.

After sharing the Last Supper with His disciples and praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus was crucified—a Roman punishment reserved for criminals—at Golgotha. There, He gave His life.

Good Friday marks the sacrificial death of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though He lived a perfect, sinless life, He died for the sins of humanity. Through His Resurrection on Easter Sunday, we are offered the hope of salvation (John 3:16).
