Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week and commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem as crowds welcomed Him with palm branches, laying them along His path and shouting, “Hosanna!”

Palm branches symbolized victory, and the people longed for deliverance from Roman rule. Yet Jesus came to bring a greater victory than they expected.

By riding a donkey, Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Zechariah 9:9, revealing Himself as a humble King who came in peace. He did not come to conquer nations, but to conquer sin and death.

As we begin this sacred week, we prepare our hearts for the hope of the Resurrection.
